Top 3 New Years Eve Winery Parties in California

West Coast New Years Eve parties are legendary, but to usher in 2012 some spectacular winery parties are scheduled that will ring out the old with style while toasting in the new with lavish affairs that go well past midnight. Make reservations soon to attend one of these exciting winery events:

Anselmo Vineyards is hosting their first ever New Years Eve Party with a black tie affair that includes a full night of entertainment, fine dining, dancing, gambling and even shopping at their silent auction. A round-trip shuttle will be provided to the nearby town of Redding. Dance to the Swing Masters, an 18-piece Big Band and try your luck with $250 in chips at the casino tables offering Grand Prizes for the evening’s top winners. A champagne toast at midnight tops off the festivities although ballroom dancing will continue into the night. You can purchase tickets in advance for $195 per guest.

Wilson Creek Winery in Temecula is continuing their New Year’s tradition with a high-energy Guys and Dolls theme to this year’s celebration. Fueled by the Big Band sounds of Big Lucky, guests are encouraged to dress as their favorite 1920′s character and join in the rowdy speakeasy atmosphere. Festivities begin at 7PM with a three course dinner and the finale is a midnight champagne toast. Embassy Suites is providing a package deal with free shuttle service to and from the party. Tickets for members of the Wine Club are $145 and $160 per person for the general public.

The Napa Valley Wine Train has earned legendary status as the place for wine lovers to spend New Year’s Eve, but this year may top them all. Besides hosting a sensational gala onboard the train, the event will raise money and awareness for local breast cancer patients. Dubbed the Black, White and Pink Ball, the festivities begin with a reception and hors d’oeuvre at the station, followed by a fresh multi-course gourmet meal while riding on the antique train as it slides through the Napa Valley night. Around 11PM the train will return to the station where there will be a chance to socialize, dance to the Brian Cline Band and participate in the benefit drawing. Tickets to board the Gourmet Express are $235 per person and the benefit drawing is $25 for three tickets. Shuttle service will be provided to nearby hotels when the party ends at 1AM.
